Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 16: ‘Shrikant’ hit the screens on May 10, 2024. It has been 16 days since the film was released but the film is still dominating the box office. This Rajkumar Rao starrer film is doing business of crores in theaters every day. Even the release of Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Bhaiya Ji’ does not seem to have any effect on it.
While Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Srikanth’ is collecting crores every day, the film’s earnings seem to be increasing every weekend. This is the third weekend of ‘Srikanth’ and this time too the film’s collection has increased. According to SACNILC, the film’s collection on working days was between 1 to 1.5 crores. While on Saturday (16th day) the film has done a business of 2 crores.
‘Srikanth’ overtook ‘Bhaiya Ji’ and moved ahead
‘Shrikant’ has such a strong hold on the box office that even the release of Manoj Bajpayee’s film ‘Bhaiya Ji’ does not seem to have any effect on it. ‘Bhaiya Ji’ hit the theatres on 24 May. While ‘Shrikant’ earned Rs 2 crore in Saturday’s collection, ‘Bhaiya Ji’ was limited to Rs 1.75 crore.
So far so much collection
According to media reports, the budget of Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Srikanth’ is Rs 40-50 crores. The film has so far earned Rs 34.65 crores at the domestic box office. The film has also done a business of more than Rs 40 crores worldwide. In such a situation, the makers are hopeful that the film will be able to recover its budget.
Starcast of ‘Srikanth’
Talking about the star cast of ‘Srikant’, apart from Rajkumar Rao, Alaya Furniturewala is also in the film. Rajkumar and Alaya’s tremendous chemistry is seen in the film. Apart from this, Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar have also appeared in ‘Srikant’.
